Diet chutney recipe - Idly dosa side dish chutney recipe
Ingredients
coriander leaves - 1 cup
onion - 1/4 cup
ginger - 1 inch
tamarind - small piece
tomato - 1
asafoetida - hing - pinch
green chili - 1
urad dal - 3/4 tsp
mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
Method
In this chutney I'm using raw onions. It gives immunity power, improve the working of vitamin C in the body, reduce inflammation, regulate blood sugar and so on.
1. Heat a tsp of oil and add mustard, urad dal - let it splutter
2. Saute green chili, ginger, tamarind along with asafoetida for a minute.
3. Add coriander leaves, saute it for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes also . Turn off the stove.
4. Once it has cooled down for room temperature, add this mixture to a mixer grinder along with onions and salt. grind it to a fine paste and serve it with idly , dosa.
