vegetable fried rice - variety rice recipe
Ingredients
basmathi rice - 1 cup ( soaked in 2 cups water for 1 hour )
beans - 1/2 cup
carrot - 1/4 cup
cabbage - 1/4 cup
onion - 1/4 cup
coriander leaves
ginger garlic paste - 3/4 tsp
cumin pepper pdr - 1 tsp ( powder of cumin seed 1/2 tsp + black pepper 1/2 tsp )
oil, salt,
ghee ( optonal )
when you cook rice add 2 or 3 green chili if you prefer spicy rice
Method
1. In your pressure cooker add 3 tbsp of oil so that rice won't sit at the bottom. Now add rice with its measured water, salt, ginger garlic paste to the cooker. Let it cook for 2 sounds.
2. In a kadai add a tsp of oil and saute all the vegetables one by one. SEE VIDEO. If you need more oil for sauteing add it.
3.Now add all these vegetables, cumin pepper powder with cooked rice and mix it gently.
4. Serve this veg fried rice with tomato ketchup.
