Ingredients - Potato stir fry
Potato - 4
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chilli pdr - 1/2 tsp
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Salt, oil
Chopped onion - 1
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Method - Potato stir fry
1. Boil potato pieces for 5 minutes. Within this time it gets cooked 50 % ( it is easy to get crispy outer layer by this method ). Remove it from hot water.
2. Now marinate half cooked potato pieces with garam masala, chilli pdr, corn flour, salt. After mixing it properly, let it sit for 30 minutes.
3. Heat a kadai with 3 tbsp of oil, crackle mustad seed, urad dal. Once it splutters add marinated potato pieces, fry them for 8 to 10 minutes on medium flame.( no need to add water for cooking. )
4. Potato fry is ready to serve.
