Potato chips
Ingredients ( potato chips )
potato - 3
chili pdr - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
salt
oil to deep fry
Method ( potato chips )
1. Slice potatoes with the help of a slicer.
2. Boil water in a wide pan, once it boils well turn off the stove.- now add potato slices into the boiling water and let it sit only for 45 seconds ( so that potatoes won't become watery while we marinating them, and also won't be sticky when we deep fry them ).
3. Now remove potato slices from hot water and spread it on a cloth - let it dry for 5 minutes.
4. In wide vessel add potato slices with chili pdr, turmeric pdr, salt - mix well and let it sit for 30 minutes
5. Heat the oil in a pan for deep frying. Now drop potato slices into the hot oil and fry them till you get brown and crispy chips.
6. Kid's favorite potato chip snack is ready to serve..
