Omapodi mixture / gram flour sev

Ingredients - Omapodi mixture / gram flour sev

Gram flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup
Ajwain / omam - 1 tsp
Turmeric pdr - 1/4 tsp
Hing / asafoetida - 1/4 tsp

Method - Omapodi mixture / gram flour sev

1. Dry fry omam and rice flour for 2 minutes

2. Mix rice flour, gram flour, omam, hing, turmeric pdr in a wide bowl and knead the dough ( like chapati dough consistency ).

3. Use the small dotted mould for making omapodi and keep a portion of dough inside the omapodi maker and start pressing into the hot oil by making circles. Flip it after 2 minutes. Take out when the oil sound subsides.

4. Now break it into pieces and store it in an air tight container.
