Chicken kuzhambu / kozhi kulambu
Ingredients - chicken kuzhambu / kozhi kulambu
Chicken - 150 g
Onion - 1/4 cup
garlic - 1/4 cup
To Grind - chicken kuzhambu / kozhi kulambu

coconut - 1/4 cup
tomato - 1
mint leaves - a handful ( optional )
fennel seed - 1 tps
cumin seed - 1 tsp
pepper - 1/4 tsp
cinnamon, cloves - few
cardamom pdr - 1/4 tsp
chili pdr - 1 tsp
coriander pdr - 2 tsp
ginger garlic paste - 3/4 tsp
turmeric - pinch
For Seasoning - chicken kuzhambu / kozhi kulambu
mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
cumin - 1/2 tsp
Method - chicken kuzhambu / kozhi kulambu
1. Wash chicken pieces - set aside.
2. Saute all the ingredients under ' To Grind ' and make it to a fine paste - SEE VIDEO
3. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a kadai and add ' Seasoning ingredients ' to it. Now saute onion, garlic and chicken pieces - Add ground masala paste to it.
4. Add salt and required water - Pressure cook these ingredients for 3 sounds.( open pressure cooker once it gets cooled ). Garnish it with coriander leaves.
5. Now south indian chicken kuzhambu is ready to serve
