Vegetable korma / Navratan korma / Mixed vegetable kurma recipe
Ingredients
carrot, Beans, Potato, Soya chunk, Peas - 1 cup each
( soak soy chunk in water for 30 minutes )
To grind
Fennel seed powder - 1 tsp ( sombu )
Chili pdr - 1 tsp
Onion - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1/4 cup
Turmeric , Cardamom powder - pinch in each
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Cumin seed - 1 tsp
Coconut - 1 cup
Tomato - 1
Green chili - 3
Cinnamon stick, cloves - few
For Seasoning
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Cumin seed - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1 tsp
Method
1. Heat tawa with a tsp of oil and add seasoning ingredients. Once it splutters saute all vegetables one by one.Add theses content into a pressure cooker. add required water for cooking and let it cook for 2 pressure sounds.
2. Again add a tsp of oil in a kadai and saute all the ingredients under ' To Grind ' . Start sauting with onions. Once it cools grind it to a fine paste. SEE VIDEO
3. Now add this paste with pressure cooked vegetables and let it boil for 2 minutes. Add salt
4. Finally garnish it cilantro and serve it with chapati, bread, naan, idly, dosa.
