Gobi Manchurian

Ingredients to fry cauliflowers - Gobi Manchurian

Cauliflower / gobi - 1/2 kg
Corn flour - 1 /2 cup
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Pepper pdr - 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 1/2 tsp
Salt

Ingredients to make manchurian - Gobi manchurian

Corn flour - 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 2 tsp
Tomato ketchup - 3 tsp
Tomato paste - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Spring onion chopped - 3 tsp
Onion - 1/4 cup
Red capsicum - 3 tbsp
Green capsicum - 3 tbsp
Ginger chopped - 1 tsp
Garlic chopped - 2 tbsp

Method to fry gobi- Gobi Manchurian

1. Boil cauliflower pieces for 2 minutes to get soft and crispy gobi fry. Remove it from hot water and set aside.
2. In a wide bowl mix all purpose flour, corn flour, pepper pdr, garam masala pdr and salt. Add 1/2 tsp of soy sauce also. Add water and mix it well. The batter should be in dosa batter consistency.
3. Dip cauliflowers into this batter and deep fry them till you get dark brown colour.

Method to make Manchurian

1. In a bowl mix 1 tsp of corn flour, dissolve it in water. With this corn water add 2 tsp of soy sauce, 2 tsp of tomato ketchup,1 tsp of tomato paste ( or tomato puree from a tomato ) , mix well.
2. This mixture will be condensed while boiling because of corn flour. 
3. Heat 3 tsp of oil in a kadai, saute ginger , garlic, onion, capsicum ,spring onion.and ginger garlic paste. Then pour the ketchup mixture and let it cook for 2 to 5 minutes. Then add fried cauliflowers and mix it well.
4, Garnish this gobi manchurian and enjoy with roti.
