Tomato rice

Ingredients - Tomato rice

Cooked rice - 2 cup
Tomato - 3
Green chilli - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Peanuts - 2 tbsp
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Chopped onion - 1
Curry leaves

Method - Tomato rice

1. Heat a kadai with a tsp of oil, fry peanuts till it turns dark brown. Set aside.
2. Grind tomatoes, green chilli, ginger garlic paste to fine paste.
3. Heat 3 tsp of oil, crackle mustard seed, urad dal. Saute onion till it turns brown. Add ground tomato mixture, let it boil for 5 minutes on high flame. It will get thickened and it looks like thick tomato chutney. 4.Now add salt, peanuts, cooked rice. Mix them well. Tomato rice is ready to serve.
