Pepper egg / Muttai milagu curry
Ingredients - Pepper egg masala/ muttai milagu curry
Boiled egg - 4
Tomato - 1
Chopped onion - 1 ( 1/2 to grind + 1/2 to saute 0
Coriander pdr - 1 tsp
Chilli pdr - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric pdr - pinch
Pepper - 1 tsp
Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon, cloves - few
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp ( seasoning )
Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp ( seasoning )
Method - Pepper egg masala / muttai milagu curry
1. Grind 1/2 cup of chopped onion, pepper, cumin seed, tomato, turmeric pdr, coriander pdr, chilli pdr, cinnamon, cloves to fine paste. Set aside.3
2. Heat a kadai with 2 tsp of oil, add seasoning ingredients , once it splutters saute 1/2 cup of onion and curry leaves.
3. When they turn tender add ground masala paste with salt. Add boiled eggs ( make small slits over the boiled egg ) and let it boil for few minutes or till it comes to a masala texture.
4. Garnish this pepper egg masala with coriander leaves.
