How to make podi dosa

Ingredients - Podi dosa

Dosa batter 3 cup
Finely chopped onion - 1
Idly powder ( podi ) - 3 teaspoon
Coriander leaves

To prepare dosa batter - Podi dosa

Rice - 5 cup
Urad dal - 1 cup
Soak both rice and urad dal in water for one hour, Grind then to a fine batter, mix well with 3 tsp of salt and let it sit for 8 to 10 hours for fermenting the batter. After fermenting you can make dosas from this batter

Method - Podi dosa

1. Heat tawa, add 1/4 tsp of oil on hot tawa, wipe it with a clean cloth and spread oil on all sides of the tawa. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it as thin dosa. Sprinkle some chopped onion, a tsp of idly podi, a tsp of chopped coriander leaves over the podi dosa, press it gently.  Add 2 tsp of oil  and cover it. Let it cook for a minute and now flip it to the other side. Cook this podi dosa till it turns crispy. You can serve this podi dosa with any chutney or sambar.
